The boat, a Rannoch R25 PAIRS, was built in 2020 and has made one Atlantic Ocean crossing (World's Toughest Row 2021). 

The R25 boat is specifically designed for two rowers with two cabins and lots of room for provisions and loose equipment. It is a very popular boat with a reputation for reliability, speed, comfort and continues to break records around the world.
